‘Anne with an E’ by Pilar Morbiducci
Anne with an E is a series set in 1904 and directed by Moira Walley, it is based on Anne of Green Gables, a book written by Canadian Lucy Maud Montgomery and first published in 1908.
Anne Shirly is a girl with many questions and a particular and intense personality, intellect, and imagination, after having a difficult life in an orphanage and different homes, a small mistake changes his life completely, when he meets his adoptive parents; elderly bachelor brothers. Excited to transform her life and discover more about her origin and her biological parents, she embarks on a search that will bring her many surprises.
I saw this tv series during the quarantine and I think it helped me a lot since after watching this series, I realized that it had taught me a lot of things.
It taught me to be respected and to respect people, especially my loved ones.
It taught me to never give up and to fight against injustices, to say things if they bother me, not to be afraid, that's what fighting is all about.
It is a series that talks a lot about the issues of racism, beauty standards, sexual harassment, indigenous history, LGBT rights, and the beginnings of women's empowerment.
In conclusion, the actors are excellent, and every detail is shocking, I highly recommend it.
I give Anne with an E ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️
